Meghan Markle may be starting her new life in Canada, but she’s clearly still retained her royal style sensibilities.
On Wednesday, the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex shared new photos from her recent secret visit to Mayhew, an animal charity that happens to be one of her patronages. For the occasion, she bundled up in Massimo Dutti’s navy blue wool wrap coat ($399).
If the Spanish brand sounds familiar, it’s likely because Markle stepped out in a brown Massimo Dutti turtleneck ($69.90) and matching satin midi skirt ($130) just 24 hours before announcing she and Prince Harry were stepping back from their roles as senior members of the royal family.
In the months leading up to the shocking statement, the duchess seemed to tone down her once-lavish wardrobe, opting to re-wear old favorites or reach for more affordable styles rather than debuting new designer duds.
Kate Middleton also chose outerwear from the label for her Wednesday visit to Cardiff, sporting a long, double-breasted camel coat ($549) from its limited-edition line. The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, styled it with a classic black turtleneck and boots along with a Zara leopard-print skirt ($49.90).
Great style minds think alike.
