Some baby names Meghan Markle and Prince Harry favored in the past have resurfaced ahead of their daughter’s arrival.

Prior to the birth of son Archie in May 2019, the Sussexes spoke with school children during a UK engagement about possible baby name suggestions. Amy was among the ideas pitched to the couple, who at the time hadn’t revealed the sex of their child.

“I asked her whether she would call her baby Amy if she has a girl, and she said, ‘That’s a really pretty name, I like it. We’ll have to think about it,’” a student named Megan Dudley told reporters at the time, according to People.

Harry also appeared to be fond of the name Lily. During the outing, he reportedly asked a parent of a girl named Lily how to spell it.

Harry, 36. and Markle, 39, were also pressed about baby names in October 2018 when they toured Australia.

“We’ve been given a long list of names from everyone, we’re going to sit down and have a look at them,” Markle said at the time.

Harry is also said to have called Harriet a “great name,” which would make sense given how close it is to Harry.

Since the couple announced in March that they have a baby girl on the way, speculation has mounted over names, with many fans believing Diana is top choice in honor of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

Harry’s older brother, Prince William, and wife Kate Middleton honored Diana when they named their now-6-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

Allegra and Isabella are also top selections among bettors for Markle and Harry’s baby, as is Phillippa for a nod to Prince Philip, Harry’s grandfather who died in April at the age of 99, according to the UK’s Hello magazine.

Both Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall recently honored their grandfather with their children’s names, August Philip Hawke and Lucas Philip Tindall.
