Michael Jackson’s estate is expressing sadness over the King of Pop’s ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley’s “sudden tragic” death.

“Michael cherished the special bond they enjoyed and was comforted by Lisa Marie’s generous love, concern and care during their times together,” read a statement via the late “Bad” singer’s Instagram Friday.

“Our hearts are with Lisa Marie’s children, Riley, Harper and Finley, and her mother, Priscilla, in this difficult time,” the tribute concluded.

The social media upload included a throwback photo of the former couple.

Presley, who died on Thursday after going into cardiac arrest and being rushed to the hospital, married Jackson in 1994.

Their nuptials took place 20 days after Presley obtained a divorce from her first husband, Danny Keough, with whom she welcomed daughter Riley and son Benjamin.

In a 2003 Newsweek interview, Presley confessed that Jackson wanted to meet her many years before their marriage, but she refused.

“I thought he was a freak, and I had no interest in meeting him,” she admitted. “But when I finally did, he immediately dashed any preconceived idea I had about him. We had a perfectly normal conversation, and I completely forgot who he was within 20 minutes.

“I actually did fall in love with him, but I don’t know what was on his menu,” Presley recalled.

The high-profile media couple didn’t last long, with Presley filing for divorce in 1996 amid concerns over the singer’s growing dependence on drugs.

“He was in the hospital, and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him,” she told the outlet, alleging that Jackson accused her of “causing trouble” and “stirring up problems” when she “started asking questions.”

“I said, “Good. I want out,’” Presley shared.

Celebrity deaths 2023: Actors, singers and stars we lost this year

The “Thriller” singer died in June 2009 of a cardiac arrest brought on by an accidental drug overdose. He was 50 years old.

Presley had been married twice by that time, first to actor Nicolas Cage in 2002, followed by guitarist Michael Lockwood in 2006.

Presley welcomed twin daughters Harper and Finley, now 14, with Lockwood before filing for divorce in 2016.

Her only son, Benjamin, died by suicide in July 2020 at age 27, which Cage mentioned in his tribute to the late songwriter.

“I find some solace believing she is reunited with her son, Benjamin,” he told The Hollywood Reporter Friday.

Lockwood, for his part, called Presley’s passing “very sad” via lawyer Joe Yanny.
