Booking a Christmas party can be stressful and expensive, places book up as quick as Santa’s sleigh circumnavigates the globe and if you do manage to secure a table it will usually cost at least an arm and a leg per head.
But this year things could be different courtesy of your local Morrisons. That’s right, the supermarket chain will be opening up their cafes for office Christmas dos, and the best part about it is it will only cost £7.50 a head.
The offer is best utilised by smaller companies as the maximum booking size is 20 people, yet you’ll all get to have a three course meal and all of the scrumptious trimmings.
Morrisons have said that they have decided to create the deal owing to the fact that cutbacks mean some small business are suffering financially and some parties that were to be funded by the company have had to be cancelled, or have the staff fund them out of their own pocket. This way they can still have the option of celebrating the festive season together even if they are on a budget.
The Morrisons Christmas Meal Deal includes vegan and vegetarian options and starts from £6.50 per person for a two courses meal or £7.50 for a full three course feast.
Head of Cafes at Morrisons, Helen Tordoff, stated: “Some small businesses have had a tough year so we have created the best Christmas meal for those on a budget.
"And as our cafés regularly host group meet ups, we thought we’d extend the invite to local companies so they can save some Christmas costs. It will mean that more people can get into the party spirit without breaking the bank.”
Booking is open now for groups of up to 20 persons and the offer will run from Monday 25 November to Monday 23 December.
