Mum’s holiday snaps hilariously backfire as pals spot her tampon hanging out

A couple were in stitches when they spotted a wardrobe malfunction in their holiday snaps.

Shanice Ealson and her partner from Weymouth, Dorset, jetted off to Ölüdeniz in Turkey last month.

They decided to make the most of their time there by booking a “crazy” watersport activity.

The 27-year-old mum was on her period but didn’t let this faze her.

She climbed up onto the inflatable and clung on for dear life as she was dragged along the water with her 33-year-old partner.

The experience looked very fun – but they laughed much more when they got the pictures back from the activity-filled day.

As Shanice thought her expressions were amusing in the snaps, she uploaded a gallery of them to Facebook.

She didn’t think anything more of it until she returned back home.

When flicking through the pictures again with friends, she realised her tampon was on full display in one of the images.

The mum told Daily Star Online: “So I was on holiday last week in Ölüdeniz, Turkey, with my partner.

“We got the pics at the end – I didn't even realise how funny some of them were until I uploaded them on Facebook.”

Shanice added: “No one noticed the tampon string – not even me.

“It wasn’t until I got home in UK.

“I was laughing about it with mates and zooming in on our faces.

“I noticed the tampon string and was absolutely creasing so posted it on GIRLSMOUTH and my wall again.”

After the tampon mishap was spotted, it didn’t take long for Shanice’s Facebook post to go viral.

On the GIRLSMOUTH Facebook page, Shanice’s post garnered 14,600 likes and 4,300 comments.

One responder laughed: “I absolutely love this! You're an absolute legend.”

Another wrote: “You are so special! Top quality being able to laugh at yourself like you do.

“Bloody love it!”

And a third joked: “Well at least if your life jacket didn’t work you’ve got your tampon as back up to keep you afloat.”

Shanice is blown away by the positive responses to her funny holiday photos.

She said: “I didn't expect to get this much reaction and I've been laughing ever since.”

So what’s next for the mum?

Shanice joked that an advert deal with Tampax would be nice!

She laughed: “I could be in the next Tampax commercial saying ‘you can still bounce around even when you're on your period – just plug it in’."
