Nikki Reed was Jenna Dewan‘s secret engagement ring designer.
The “Twilight” actress, 31, congratulated her friend and revealed that she helped Steve Kazee, 43, create Dewan’s diamond sparkler through her sustainable jewelry and lifestyle brand, BaYou With Love.
“An honor to be a very small part of this special moment. I love you both, and all I can say is your love is pure magic,” Reed wrote on her Instagram Story. “Steve, making this with you was such a beautiful experience. Thank you for loving Jenna the way you do.”
Reed helps many couples pick out sustainable and conflict-free cultivated and mined diamonds and design custom engagement rings with recycled gold; a smaller oval design on the company’s website retails for a minimum of $14,000.
Dewan, 39, and Kazee, who are expecting their first child together, both shared the exciting news on their own social media pages, along with photos of the oval-cut rock.
“A lifetime to love and grow with you,” Dewan captioned a loving photo with her new fiancé. “You have my heart.”
“Beyond grateful for you and your hand in this,” Kazee responded to Reed, promising to reveal all the details of the design process soon.
To Dewan, he posted lyrics from the song “Let It Breathe” by Water Liars: “When you wake in the morning I will kiss your face with a smile no one has ever seen. When you wake in the morning I will kiss your eyes and say it’s you I have loved all these years.”
