Meghan Markle is celebrating her 39th birthday Tuesday, and members of the Royal Family are ringing in the occasion by sending well wishes on social media.
“Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very happy birthday!” the Royal Family’s official Twitter page posted, joined by a photo of Markle and Queen Elizabeth II together in Chester in 2018.
Birthday wishes also came from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
“Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex today!” they posted.
The well-wishes come as a new tell-all biography “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family,” reveals that Prince Harry often felt like a third wheel — and even like “a gooseberry” — when he carried out official engagements alongside his brother and sister-in-law.
Birthday wishes also came from Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
In a bombshell move early this year, Prince Harry and Meghan revealed they were stepping down from their roles as “senior” royals and beginning a “progressive new role.”
The pair are currently holed up in Tyler Perry’s $18 million mansion in Los Angeles with their 1-year-old son Archie.
