Emily Hardiman, a 28-year-old finance assistant from Didcot, Oxon, shared details of the sale on Facebook and said she plans on stocking up for Christmas.

We've asked Thorntons for the expiry date on the sale products for other shoppers who are hoping to keep the chocolate for presents.

Emily told The Sun: "I spotted the deal on another Facebook page so I thought I would take a look as sometimes the deals aren't always as good as they seem.

"When I had a look I saw that there were actually quite a good few deals.

"I haven't brought any of the chocolate yet, as I am hoping to save on the postage cost.

"I'll be popping into our local Thorntons shop this afternoon once I have finished work to hopefully find some in store."

Her post sparked a flurry of comments from happy readers.

One person said: "Great deal, thank you. Kids going to be happy."

While another asked her friend: "Need anything for youth club?"
