Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder took to the ring last night, ending in a brutal 11th round knockout. It is thought that Tyson, also known as the Gypsy King, could have earned a fortune from the fight.

In an immediate aftermath, Tyson said: “It was a great fight, worthy of the best trilogies.

“I will not make any excuses, Wilder is a top fighter, he gave me a run for my money.

“I always say I am the best fighter in the world and he is the second best. Don’t ever doubt me. When the chips are down I can always deliver.”

How much is he worth?

Earlier this year, it was reported that Tyson was worth an enormous £70million.

Mostly coming from his earnings as a boxer, Tyson has claimed several titles over the years.

In 2015, he won the unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, Ring magazine and lineal heavyweight titles by defeating long-reigning world champion Wladimir Klitschko in Germany.

He has represented both England and Ireland as an amateur, winning the ABA super-heavyweight title in 2008 before turning professional that year.

According to ESPN, Tyson pocketed nearly £4million in his Wilder rematch.

The fight made £13million in gate receipts at Las Vegas’s MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Each boxer was thought to net a huge £30million from the fight.

It is also thought that Tyson made a whopping £12million from his single WWE appearance, when he won against Braun Strowman.

In his personal life, Tyson owns a huge mansion in Marbella as well as being the owner of an impressive car collection.

In his collection he has cars such as a Metallic Hummer H2, worth around £50,000 as well as a Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Range Rover and a Rolls Royce.

The same year, he was appointed to Member of the Order of the British Empire.

More recently, he defeated Wladimir Klitschko in 2017, where he took home a staggering £13million from the fight.
