Former Geordie Shore star and I'm A Celeb jungle queen Vicky Pattison tops the list of those cashing on lockdown, with a projected earning potential of around £208,517 at an estimated £10,000 per post.

According to research by company Attain who used a two month time frame from March 12th-May 14th for all featured, during the main part of lockdown, her potential earnings are pretty impressive.

Despite having nearly half the following than Molly Mae Hague does with 2.3m, Olivia Bowen was the top Love Island earner, looking at just short of £188,886 for a whopping 37 sponsored posts.

Olivia’s husband Alex is no stranger to hashtag ad either, coming close to £77,954 in estimated earnings.

The link between Reality TV stars and sponsored ads is clear to see for the millions who follow them on Instagram.

Molly Mae meanwhile is estimated to have made around £141,575 during the same eight week period with her 4.2m followers.

Also making the top ten list was Marnie Simpson who is estimated to have made a little over £180,000 and her former Geordie Shore co-star Chloe Ferry is projected to have pocketed around £170,930.

Billie Faiers has been projected to have earned just over £90,000 thanks to her reality influencer status along with her In The Style fashion collection that she regularly posts.

Holly Hagan, Maura Higgins and Zara McDermott also make the list earning between £69,000 to £82,000 for their sponsored posts.

While these numbers may seem mind blowing to some, reality TV influencers were actually on course to be earning even more.

More research from Attain into how coronavirus has impacted instagram influencers found that 65 per cent of Reality TV stars posted less sponsored content during lockdown restrictions than they were projected to post. This has resulted in a loss of 24 per cent of their estimated earnings on average, which accounts for on average of £1,650 a week.

For instance, Love Island’s Amber Rose Gill is estimated to miss out on over £130,000 in potential earnings through sponsored content.

Yet Chloe and Marnie have both doubled their output from the previous eight weeks to potentially earning close to £200,000 each.

However those who stand out by the difference in earnings during lockdown are the Kardashian-Jenner clan who haven't posted any paid ads on their Instagrams during this period, instead navigating more towards exclusively promoting their own brands, a trend that has been developing throughout 2020.
