ROBBIE POWER is a leading National Hunt jockey in Britain and Ireland and is looking for more big-race success this year.

Power has been a prominent figure inside the winners' enclosure at the big meetings over the last few years, and will be hoping for more of the same.

Power rides horses owned by the late Alan Potts in Ireland. He rides for Jessica Harrington's sizeable National Hunt operation along with Colin Tizzard and also picks up plenty more quality spare rides.

How old is Robbie Power?

Robbie Power is 38 years old. His first winner under rules came in December 2001 for his Jessica Harrington at Punchestown.  He became champion conditional in Ireland in the 2010/11 season.

His first big success came in the Grand National in 2007 when he won the Aintree showpiece with Gordon Elliot's Silver Birch.

He rode his first winner at the Cheltenham Festival when Bostons Angel, trained by Jessica Harrington, landed the RSA Chase in 2011.

What horses has Robbie Power ridden?

Aside from the aforementioned Grand National win on Silver Birch and his first Cheltenham success on Bostons Angel, most of Power's big-name horses have emerged recently.
