An American woman was shocked to find a note in her McDonald’s order telling her to “lose weight”.
Suzie, who posted a video on TikTok @soozieque, explained that her DoorDash delivery driver had put the note in her food order.
The note said: “Lose weight, ask me how.”
It was written down on a card for Herbalife Nutrition, a dietary supplement company that generates revenue through multi-level marketing (MLM).
Captioning the clip on TikTok, Suzie said: “My DoorDash person put this in my McDonald’s bag.
“Thanks … I guess.”
The clip was viewed more than 65,000 times and caused a lively debate in the comments.
Many people told Suzie she should report the driver – and she said she had “tried” and that she “heard nothing”, reported news.com.au.
One poster said: “That’s messed up.”
“That’s mad rude,” added another.
People suggested that Suzie should take action against the driver.
A third person wrote: “File a complaint with DoorDash.
“Imagine if he had given that to someone suffering from an ed (eating disorder),” another wrote.
However, some posters instructed the woman not to take the note seriously.
“People on their hustle and flow. Some people are so sensitive on everything,” commented one woman.
Another wrote: “I’m sure she’s just trying to sell her products.”
