The Only Way Is EssexstarYazmin Oukhellouwas involved in a horrific car crash in July that left her with serious injuries.
The reality star, 28, was in Turkey with her on-off boyfriendJake McLean at the time of the accident and tragically he lost his life.
Jake, who died aged 33, was understood to have been driving at the time when he lost control of the car in Bodrum, south-west Turkey.
Now, two months after the tragedy,Yazmin is on a wellness retreat in Marrakechand has been detailing how the trip is part of her “healing” process.
The Essex based star has been sharing how she’s spending her days and showed a clip of her pouring honey over her flatbread for breakfast before she enjoyed some tea.
Yazmin has been enjoying some downtime by the pool as she reads Deepak Chopra’s book, The seven spiritual laws of success: a practical guide to the fulfillment of your dreams.
She posted a picture of the book and told followers that the book is a “bit tattered” because she’s had it for years and added: “[I have] always gone back to this when I need guidance”.
Today she focused on the chapter titled “the law of pure potentiality”, and after reading Yazmin took herself off to the spa and a dip in an indoor pool.
Following that she wrapped herself in a robe and slippers and enjoyed a cup of tea in peaceful settings.
When she headed to the resort Yazmin posted a picture of herself in a bikini and wrote: “Healing is NOT an overnight process. It takes time. Sometimes you’ll feel like you’re finally getting over something & happy again, and then the wound will reopen when you least expect it.
"Don’t give up, don’t get discouraged. Take each day 1 step at a time. Just try to be in a better place mentally, emotionally and spiritually than you were yesterday."
Yazmin went on to update her followers on what she's been up to, and wrote: "I’ve come back to my second home after what I’ve been through and tried to centre myself.
"When those days hit me where I feel like giving up, I practice gratitude and give thanks to even the smallest of things and it really does help. Love Yaz," she finished off her message with a white heart emoji.
The TOWIE star's getaway to Marrakech comes after Jake's funeral took place in Essex recently. She was not present at the funeral, where stars including James 'Arg' Argent and Lauren Goodger paid their respects.
Yazmin broke her silence for the first time since the funeral to pay tribute to Jake on the sad day to share some sweet snaps of the pair.
Alongside the pictures, she wrote: "I have been taking some time away from social media to fully focus on my mental and physical recovery. I needed this time away to work on healing and processing everything as best as I can."
Yazmin went on: "This has taught me that life is so short and we must cherish our loved ones as much as possible.
"I am so grateful for our memories and the special time that Jake and I shared. I’ve not stopped thinking about him and I’ll miss him always. He will forever hold a special place in my heart.
"I want to thank everyone for their support and lovely messages. I truly appreciate each and every single one of you."
