Katie Price’s teenage son Harvey was "inconsolable" when he was unable to contact his mum before she was arrested for drink-driving, a source has claimed.
The mum-of-five, who shares 19-year-old Harvey with ex-boyfriend Dwight Yorke, pled guilty for drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance following a crash near her Sussex home on Tuesday.
The 43-year-old was involved in a single-car collision which left her BMW flipped onto its side on the B2135 near Partridge Green.
But just days before her dangerous crash, her eldest son – who lives with Prader-Willi syndrome, septo-optic dysplasia, autism and a learning disability – was heartbroken when he was unable to get a hold of his mum.
Now a source has revealed to The Mirror how Katie’s family first became concerned about her when Harvey was unable to contact her on FaceTime.
The insider told the publication: "Poor Harvey had been trying to FaceTime her all week and she was nowhere to be seen.
"He was inconsolable – it made her family really sit and think something was really wrong."
The former glamour model pled guilty to all the driving offences to her name on Wednesday as she informed the courts that she would be checking herself into a rehabilitation unit to address her drink and drug addictions.
The TV star is set to enrol in a program at The Priory rehab centre to treat her addictions under the supervision of her professionals.
And as she settles into her new residence, the loving mum has FaceTimed her children from the facility to promise them that she "will get better".
The media personality shares two children with her ex-Kieran Hayler, who has revealed that eight-year-old Jett and seven-year-old Bunny were "worried and upset" after the dangerous incident.
Kieran later told the MailOnline how his ex-wife rang their children to reassure them she was safe and well, but revealed he worries himself that she may "end up dead".
He told the publication: "Bunny asked her about what happened, and she said she was in hospital and she’s going to get better and see them really soon.
"Katie said she will be speaking to the children most days from The Priory, and I hope she will get better and the help she needs.
"How much more can somebody take before they break? If Kate carries on like this, she’s going to end up dead."
Katie flipped her car onto its side at 6.20am on Tuesday (September 28) which was found near her home in West Sussex.
The TV star tested positive for cocaine at the road side and was double the legal driving limit for alcohol.
