Robbie Williams releasing duet with boxer Tyson Fury in bid for Christmas No1

Robbie Williams and Tyson Fury have teamed up to attempt this year's Christmas number one title.

The unlikely pairing have recorded a track on Robbie's upcoming Christmas album The Christmas Present.

There's a lot at stake as it's the former Take That star's first-ever Christmas record.

Boxing legend Tyson is set to appear on a track called Bad Sharon, which Robbie has described as "a very boozy office party somewhere in the Midlands".

The song includes the lyrics: "Bad, bad Sharon from the office, nick the champagne, let’s get off."

Following in Michael Buble's footsteps, Robbie's album has 28 tracks of festive tunes featuring stars Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams and Jamie Cullum.

31-year-old Tyson famously sang after his victory over Tom Schwarz.

He serenaded his wife Paris in front of a Las Vegas crowd.

The brother of Love Island hunk Tommy Fury also sang after his world title victory over Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.

Aerosmith's I Don't Want to Miss a Thing was Fury's song of choice as he celebrated the win.

45-year-old Robbie first met Tyson in June ahead of the sportsman's Vegas victory.

Robbie headed backstage where he asked Tyson about the Christmas collaboration.

The Rock DJ hitmaker said: "Tyson invited me to his dressing room before the fight and just in that moment I was like, 'I've seen you sing after fights' and I asked him, and he said yes.

"It made sense for Tyson, in that moment, in my head. And to be fair, he smashed it."

As well as traditional festive favourites, the album will also include some brand new material.

The Christmas Present is out on November 22.
