After two successive festive No1s he’s stolen Mariah’s job as the star of the new Walkers crisps festive ad campaign, and believes that makes him the ultimate Christmas pop star.
Speaking on becoming the face of the brand at Christmas, he said: "Look, how many Christmas No1s has Mariah Carey got?
"I don’t think she has any here in the UK so I am not saying I am better than Mariah, well…I can’t sing better but I certainly have more No1s than Mariah!.
"And I actually eat the crisps. So I’ll take Mr Christmas."
Mark’s wife and fellow YouTube star Rox agreed: "I will gladly be the new Mrs Christmas, I live for it!"
Ladbaby’s Walkers advert premieres today and Mark personally thanked Daily Star after we petitioned for him to follow in Mariah’s crisps-steps last year.
He laughed: "This is down to you.
"It’s true, it was very funny, I said to you last year that Mariah Carey wasn’t even eating crisps properly and then in January Walkers got in touch and said they had read your article and asked me if I wanted the gig!"
