BBC Breakfast weatherman left red-faced after live blunder as Carol Kirkwood replaced again | The Sun

A BBC Breakfast weatherman was left red-faced after he made a live blunder while standing in for Carol Kirkwood.

Matt Taylor was standing in for Carol this morning as the presenter is off for a number of days.

The reason for her absence from the programme has not been revealed although Jon Kay referenced it earlier in the week.

And as Matt, 46, was talking viewers through today's forecast he made a live blunder.

As he was rounding off the segment, he mixed up the words 'dry and 'grey'.

It left the presenter saying the word 'drey' which had the BBC Breakfast hosts giggling.

Sally Nugent also joined in as she said: "Drey and grey."

Meanwhile, viewers were left in awe at Sally's outfit on today's show.
