Viewers of BBC's Blankety Blank were left in hysterics by Peter Andre's appearance on the popular Saturday night game show.

When asked by Bradley to fill in the blank to the question "Judy Murray really lives the tennis lifestyle. Even at home, she has ball girls to hand her a blank when she gets out of the bath," Peter Andre responded "ball", leaving his fellow celebrity contestants in hysterics too.

Comedian Rob Beckett, who was also appearing on the show, jokingly asked Peter Andre: "I've never seen a man look so confused. Do you know what the game is?"

At some points, Peter also had to explain his answers to a confused looking Bradley.

Fans took to social media after Peter failed to provide a matching answer for some of the questions posed by host Bradley Walsh, and instead provided some hilarious responses that fans couldn't get enough of.

One fan said: "it is entertainment waiting for his answer".

"Mr Peter Andre enjoying watching you on Blankety Blank. Loving your answers…I'd prob say the same answers," said another.

"Blankety Blank is hilarious tonight. Why has Peter Andre never been on a Saturday night TV game show before?" asked one viewer.

One fan even compared his appearance on the show to another famous television moment in US sitcom friends.

"Peter Andre on Blankety Blank is hilarious. I'm totally getting Joey from Friends vibes," they said.

His appearance proved popular with viewers, with many taking to social media to thank the singer for making them laugh and smile through the episode.

"Thank you Mr Peter Andre for giving a girl a right good giggle watching you and your answers on Blankety Blank," said one viewer.

Although his answers made viewers laugh, it didn't help contestants Irene and Andrew win any points in the head to head match.

In the end, Andrew beat Irene to the final round where for a moment viewers thought he was going to ask Peter for his help.

After a glance and a slight pause, he instead chose tennis star Andrew Murray's mum, Judy Murray to help, matching the points he needed to win the grand prize of an ultimate fitness centre and the much coveted prize of a Blankety Blank cheque book and pen.

That wasn't before host Bradley Walsh jokingly consoled Peter when he wasn't picked to help, saying "I was expecting him to say you mate."
