Emmerdale viewers will know that Caleb Milligan (William Ash) has made it his mission to bring down Kim Tate’s (Claire King) Home Farm empire from the inside.
However, recent scenes saw him form a new plan, as things began to go wrong.
With Kim having returned to the Emmerdale village from Dubai, she jumped head first back into work and revealed to Caleb that she had been informed that the land they had put aside for the new stud farm had been sold.
Caleb assured her that it was them who had bought it, and that although the paperwork hadn’t yet been signed, the process was still ongoing.
He encouraged Kim to go and sleep off her jet lag while he got to work, promising that by the time she woke up they would be popping the champagne.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t to be, as Caleb soon realised that he had made a massive clerical error.
He admitted to a disbelieving Kim that he had forgotten to press send on an email that would have secured them a deal, blaming the fact that Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) had decided to start a fight with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) for distracting him.
Furious, Kim admitted that she couldn’t rely on Caleb, and that his Dingle DNA had left her feeling doubtful for a while.
Caleb’s entire plan came undone as she fired him on the spot, leaving him wondering how he could pull things back in his favour.
Luckily for him, the answer would soon become clear.
While drowning his sorrows in the pub alongside brother Cain, he overheard a stressed Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) reveal that her cows had got into Kim’s fields again.
When confused Caleb pointed out that they must have walked a long way, Moira explained that they owned land that bordered Home Farm’s grounds, sparking an idea for Caleb.
He immediately headed back to Home Farm with a plan formed in his head, though Kim was reluctant to give him the time of day.
He managed to convince her to listen when he revealed that there may be other land she can purchase, belonging to Cain and Moira.
Kim informed him that she had already tried that in the past, but Caleb insisted that financial situations can change, especially when disasters happen.
Although he had to admit that nothing had gone wrong for them yet, he assured Kim that he was serious about working with her, and would make whatever sacrifices necessary to get the stud farm up and running.
Is Caleb set to turn on the Dingles for the chance of bringing down Kim for good?
