Cheryl had an adorable reaction when she realised her former Girls Aloud bandmate was taking part in Sport Relief with her.
Kimberley Walsh was performing on Sport Relief's Greatest Dancer, and she had kept it a secret from her pal Cheryl, who was judging the performances.
She appeared on one of the two teams who were battling it out to win the competition, which was a segment on the BBC show.
Kimberley has previously revealed she did not speak to Cheryl for over a week because she was desperate not to give the secret away.
And her former X Factor act, Alexandra Burke, was also competing., along with McFly star Harry Judd.
Cheryl immediately recognised Kimberley from behind as soon as she started to perform.
Kimberley said while rehearsing: "Obviously I know Cheryl quite well, so that does put a little bit of pressure on.
"I'm gonna keep it a secret from Cheryl, just to throw her off a little bit."
The troupe started performing a jazz-themed number, and as soon as Kimberley stood on the stage and began to dance with Alexandra, Cheryl pointed at them.
She looked amazed as she realised who she was watching, beaming and holding her head in her hands.
When the performance finished, Cheryl grabbed Kimberley for a big hug.
She threw her hands up in apparent confusion while she applauded, impressed by her friend's deception.
Earlier in the show, presenters Gary Lineker and Paddy McGuinness suffered multiple gaffes in a row.
The first error took place when Gary failed to read out his lines from the autocue, and so there was an awkward pause while Paddy waited for him to speak.
Eventually, Paddy gave up and started reading the line himself, and then Gary suddenly realised, giggling: "Ah, that's me isnt it!"
"That's you!" agreed Paddy, chuckling as Gary apologised.
They then introduced a skit about VAR, but the wrong clip of Mike Bushell was played, meaning the skit didn't make any sense.
"Well, I think it's fair to say we're all slight shocked here in the studio," said Gary."That was a complete mess up actually, from start to finish. In fact they even rolled the wrong VT as well."
Paddy put his hands up to his head and exclaimed: "Oh my god!"
"It's all gone pear-shaped," wailed Gary.
He then suddenly burst out with "over to you, Alex!" referring to his co host Alex Scott.
But it wasn't her slot either, and she could be heard on her microphone laughing nervously, but the camera didn't cut to her.
"Forget that as well!" said Gary, pointing at the camera.
