CHLOE Sims was in bits as she broke down during a therapy session and revealed she'd slept with other men as "revenge" against Pete Wicks.
The reality TV star branded Dan Edgar a "rebound" as her secret relationship strife with Pirate Pete came to light.
This weekend, The Sun Online exclusively revealed the long-term pals have been on-off lovers for the past two years, with Pete, 31, hailing their sexual relationship "more than just a friendship."
At the therapy session aired on TOWIE and held after the BFFs went eight months without speaking, mum of one Chloe wore her hair in a high bun and a black ruffle dress.
Yet as she started sobbing mascara fell down her face.
As therapist Anna Williamson suggested the relationship had turned sexual, Chloe, 37, said: "There’s a pattern. When he can’t have me, he wants me. When I go away, he follows. Then we spend time together and then the minute I switch and want that, he goes 'no.'
'That’s led me to take revenge a few times. I’ve done things to hurt him with other guys and it seemed to work because he comes back."
Clearly distressed about what the future holds for the two, she said: "At this point, I don’t know. I’m not as strong as everyone thinks and I can’t be bothered to keep being strong all the time.
"I don’t know if we can go back. I feel like he wants me to be his friend and I don’t know if I can do it."
Pete, wearing a white hat, spoke out about the "blurred lines" and told of his fears he would lose Chloe "full stop."
In a teaser for the upcoming episode, she branded Dan Edgar a "rebound" from her relationship issues with Pete.
Telling all in our exclusive chat, he confirmed all and said: "Yes our relationship has been more than just a friendship. It has been romantic.
"There have definitely been blurred lines over the last two-years.
"We haven't been officially seeing each other but there's definitely been times it's been more than just a friendship."
Blowing the lid on their love affair, Pete said: "It's probably the worst kept secret in TV but yes there is a lot of love between us.
"I do love her and she is one of the most important people to me and hopefully I am to her but we have subsequently made a mess of our friendship.
"It is very hard to maintain a friendship when you do that because the lines get blurred and emotions get involved."
Dashing hopes they could battle through their issues and become an item, Pete said a traditional relationship was not on the cards.
He even told us it could even be too late to save their friendship.
He added: "We have made a real mess of everything. I think we are better off just as friends.
"The problem now is we have to navigate our way moving forward as just friends."
TOWIE airs next on Wednesday at 9pm on ITVBe.
