A CORONATION Street legend's very own mum appeared on the soap last night.

The famous soap star's mother was actually part of the serial killer Stephen Reid plot – but did you spot her?



In the latest episode, Enid Dunn, 79, appeared in a guest stint on the hit ITV soap.

The actress is in fact the legendary Antony Cotton's mum.

Enid played a housekeeper who ended up being involved in Rufus Donahue's death.

After being killed by murderer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce),the body of businessman Rufus (Steven Meo) was found dead in a swimming pool by Enid's character.

She was seen on screen looking very shocked after making the grim discovery, and had to tell Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) the news.

Enid has appeared in a number of TV shows since the late 90s.

In fact this is the fourth time she has been in Corrie.

Just a year before her son Antony joined the Cobbles as Sean Tully, she played Joan Lawson in 2002.

She appeared as Dennis Stringer's aunt who attended his funeral.

Her next two roles were small, with one four years later under the character name of Old Crone, and a woman who appeared in serial killer John Stape's storyline in 2011.

Then in 2014 she appeared in two episodes as a pensioner called Maureen Rothwell, who won a large amount of money during a Bingo night.

Enid has plenty of other programmes to add to her impressive list.

Those such as Compulsion, Bancroft, The Bay, Cutting It, Strangeways Here We Come.
