Corrie fans slam boring Craig plot as he tries to find owner of wooden stick

Coronation Street fans baffled by the confusing deceased pensioner storyline as Emma Brooker and Faye Windass panic that Craig Tinker is closing in on them.

During Friday’s instalment of the popular ITV soap, viewers watched Faye’s policeman boyfriend focus on the puzzling case surrounding the suspicious death of the elderly man.

His biggest clue so far is the abandoned crutch which contains the pair’s fingerprints as well as the initial THS carved on the side.

While the driving instructor initially feared the initials linked to the name of the late resident, café owner Roy suggested that they are more likely to be the initials of an establishment such as Trafford Hospital Switchboard.

But as he continues to investigate into the suspicious case, viewers were baffled when Craig told his housemates how he was looking through a crutches forum online.

And fans soon swarmed to Twitter to share their confusion surrounding the complex storyline.

One user questioned: “There's a forum for crutches? Sign me up … #Corrie."

Another asked: "When did the NHS last use those wooden crutches like that? #Corrie."

A third chimed in with: "#Corrie And now a copper's going to find a woman in charge of crutches. This is riveting …"

Elsewhere, another fan of the show pointed out: "Chasing crutches that ain't been returned LOL LOL LOL going WAYYYYYY too far now @itvcorrie #Corrie."
