Death in Paradise fans call out outrageous blunder in latest episode – but can you spot it?

DEATH in Paradise fans have called out a blunder – quite literally – with the BBC drama.

Friday's episode saw DCI Neville Parker and his team investigate the mysterious death of a skydiver.

The man, Zach Ogilvy, appeared to have been stabbed while in mid-air, leaving the police baffled.

The cops questioned Zach's associates, including Alessa Park – played by Call The Midwife's Jessica Clark.

Afterwards, she made a suspicious-sounding phone call while standing alone on the beach, but Death in Paradise viewers were distracted by the fact she appeared to be holding her phone upside down.

As she ended the call, she moved the handset away from her face, revealing the charge points at the top when they should have been at the bottom.

Then as she held the phone to her chest, the camera could just be seen peeping out near the bottom right, when it would normally be in the top left.

One eagle-eyed viewer wrote: "Why is she using her phone upside down? #DeathInParadise."

Another added: "WHY IS SHE HOLDING HER PHONE UPSIDE DOWN?!? #DeathInParadise. The guy did it in #HopeStreet last week too!"

A third tweeted: "It's really bothering me that she was using her mobile phone upside down."

Later in the episode, some viewers felt another blunder had occurred regarding the time of the skydiving flight.

They claimed the plane Zach jumped out of was confirmed as 8.15am before it suddenly changed to 10.15am.

One viewer tweeted to star Ralf Little: "Shame your script writers weren't awake tonight…they initially said that the plane took off at 08:15 – but later, Neville said it took off at 10:15. Naughty naughty."

Another wrote: "Originally plane took off 8/8.15. Suddenly changed to 10.15."

Death in Paradise airs Fridays at 9pm on BBC One.
