Emma from 'Friends' Hilariously Responds to Chandler's 2020 Joke

I know it’s too soon to even mention the word Friends without spiraling due to Netflix cruelly removing it from their streaming selection (I’M NOT OKAY), but this is cute: remember Ross and Rachel’s daughter Emma? Well, actress Noelle Sheldon just hit Instagram to respond to Chandler’s joke about 2020, which went down in a circa 2003 episode called “The One with the Cake.”

In the episode, Ross and Rachel throw Emma a first birthday party and make everyone wait for her to finish napping while they record video messages for her to read when she turns 18 (note: Noelle is 17 in real life). Chandler’s message? “Hi, Emma. It’s the year 2020. Are you still enjoying your nap?”

Which brings us to Noelle, who posted a picture of herself “on the Central Perk set” with the caption “Just woke up from the best nap of all time, happy 2020!! (ft. my poorly done photoshop). Hope everyone has an excellent year full of family, friends, and laughter!!”

Noelle played Emma along with her twin sister, Cali Sheldon, who just shared this adorable throwback of herself and Jennifer Aniston on set:
