Emmerdale 's Daisy Campbell revealed she was recently targeted by thieves while on holiday.

Daisy, who's played Amelia Spencer on the ITV soap for more than 11 years, sat across from Lorraine stand-in host Ranvir Singh where she spoke about her character's upcoming pregnancy storyline.

The 18-year-old explained that she recently went on holiday to unwind from her character's harrowing storyline, but was met with even more stress when her bag was stolen with everything inside.

Daisy went to Ibiza with co-star and best friend Rosie Bentham, who plays Gabby Thomas and revealed: "We had it booked for a year, but we lost our bags. Our phones and our bags got nicked, everything got nicked, and I was just upset about my phone because it had everything on it."

She added: "But it was kind of nice because we had no phone for one tonight so we kind of just lived our lives, it was the best feeling."

Daisy is currently in the midst of her most dramatic storyline yet after finding out she was pregnant and taking syrup to help her lose weight.

The actress is now a part of ITV's mental health campaign Britain Get Talking which aims to encourage people to look after their mental health by connecting with others.

She noted that Amelia's current situation ties in with the campaign because the 15-year-old feels like she has no one to turn to.

The blonde beauty explained: "She's got this whole vulnerable side coming out now and she's so young, she's only 15, and she's got no one to speak to so that's why I think it ties in really well with the campaign."

When asked if her pregnancy storyline had sparked reaction amongst fans, Daisy admitted she has received several messages from teen mums who believe she has done the story justice.

Daisy told the GMB star: "I've had a lot of reaction from young people because I wanted to do this justice for the young teen mums especially and I've had loads of messages telling me that I'm doing it justice."

"That's what I'm doing this for, it's for them," the ITV star added.
