Emmerdales Charley Webb and Emma Atkins stun fans with make-up for joint Halloween celebrations

We’re used to seeing them on-screen as Emmerdale co-stars, but actresses Charley Webb, Emma Atkins and Isabel Hodgins delighted fans as they proved they’re also the best of friends behind-the-scenes.

The trio, who play the ITV soap’s Debbie Dingle, Charity Dingle and Victoria Sugden, joined forces to celebrate Halloween together this weekend, posing for pictures in their spooky costumes.

Charley, 33, uploaded photographs of herself, on-screen mum Emma and Isabel, writing: “HaPpY HaLlOwEeN from our gang to yours” alongside a ghost emoji.

Emmerdale viewers were quick to comment, pointing out the effort the cast mates had gone to with their impressive Halloween-themed make-up.

As they flooded the comment section, describing the ladies’ make-up as “fab” and “incredible”, another person added: “Well, you all look amazing.”

Another of Charley's Instagram followers said: “Absolutely fantastic….. Exceptional make up.”

While a third said they loved seeing the women together away from the soap, writing: “I wanna be in your gang!!”

The actresses were also joined by Charley’s husband Matthew Wolfenden, who plays Emmerdale’s David, and their three sons – Buster, eleven, Bowie, five and Ace, one.

41-year-old Matthew, who recently unveiled a new look, showcased his gory make-up, while the boys each chose a different character to dress up as.

Opening up about how they celebrated, Charley explained they decorated their own home and also did some activities organised by the local residents where they live.

She said: “It was so good. The kids absolutely loved it!”

The actress continued: “It was a shame about the rain but they got over it, they weren’t that bothered.”

“It was so fun. Our village goes all out [for it] and do a full, organised trail, which was really cute.”

Charley also shared more images and videos of their house fully decorated for the party, including light-up pumpkins, witches and an elaborate outside display.

She added: “We also put a photo frame with blood all over it that said ‘press me’ and then a smoke machine went off.”

“The music was so loud past our house. I got back from the trail and thought, ‘where is that music coming from?!’ and then realised it was my own house!”
