RHONA Goskirk is left fearing that her fledgling romance with Graham Foster is already on the skids in Emmerdale next week.
The vet – who’s played by Zoe Henry in the ITV soap – panics and tells friend Vanessa Woodfield that she’s afraid she’s made a fool of herself with Graham.
But Vanessa isn’t quite so sure. Will she help push the pair together?
Fans became convinced that Graham – former Downton Abbey star Andrew Scarborough – and Rhona would get together after the pair shared a heartfelt conversation back in July.
The theory came after the two got locked in the veterinary practice and Kim Tate’s right-hand man was forced to spill the beans on what his evil boss was up to.
On orders from his villainous overlord, Graham Foster tried to steal some of the vet’s ketamine so they could plant it in the kids playground to get everyone in trouble.
But in Thursday’s episode, Rhona discovered Graham lurking and locked them both in the vets – forcing him to reveal his boss’s dastardly plan.
As the two started talking and sharing secrets from their past, fans quickly noticed there might be a connection between the unlikely pair.
Fans were pleasantly surprised by the potential coupling and expressed their delight on social media.
“Not going to lie and probably an unpopular opinion but I wouldn’t object to Rhona & Graham being a couple…,” wrote one.
A second added: “Why am I shipping Graham and Rhona?”
“The chemistry between Rhona and Graham. That has leapt out without warning,” commented a third.
While a fourth joked: “Graham & Rhona gonna get it on.”
Since then, as Graham confessed to missing the games of chess he’d play with Joe Tate, Rhona was seen sneakily making moves on a chess board at Home Farm, leaving Graham wondering who his mystery opponent was.
