First ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Trailer Reveals a New Recruit

While Kristen Stewart’s Sabina and Ella Balinska’s Jane are already full-on spies early in the video, Naomi Scott’s Elena goes from someone who needs the Angels’ protection to joining the Townsend Agency herself.

AceShowbiz -The Angels are back in action in the first official trailer of “Charlie’s Angels” remake. The video opens with Kristen Stewart‘s Sabina seducing a man at what looks like a romantic dinner, before she elusively attacks her dating partner. She is soon joined by Ella Balinska‘s Jane, who is clad in an all-black outfit. “Outstanding, Angels,” Patrick Stewart‘s Bosley enters and praises the girl.

In the next scene, another Bosley, played by Djimon Hounsou, tells the two girls that they have a new client. He later meets Naomi Scott‘s Elena, a programmer who has developed a very powerful product, which could turn into something dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands.

Exactly what she fears of, Elena is being spied on at the cafe, prompting an immediate rescue mission with Jane on hand to take her to safety. The video sees Elena being brought into the Townsend Agency headquarters, where she meets Elizabeth Banks‘ Bosley.

Initially someone who needs the Angels’ protection, Elena later turns into one of them. She gets a makeover and is armed, before joining Sabina and Jane on various missions. The video also features Noah Centineo as Jane’s potential love interest, before it ends with the three girls answering a call from their boss with the iconic line, “Good morning, Charlie.”

Directed by Banks, the new “Charlie’s Angels” movie follows the three lead characters who are working for the mysterious Charles Townsend, whose security and investigative agency has expanded internationally. With the world’s smartest, bravest, and most highly trained women all over the globe, there are now teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs everywhere. The screenplay is written by Banks from a story by Evan Spiliotopoulos and David Auburn.

Banks previously explained why there are multiple Bosleys in the upcoming movie. ” ‘Bosley’ is now a rank in the organization, like lieutenants,” he told EW. “All of the Angels have been played by different women and have had different names, but the Bosley character was always named Bosley no matter who played him. We thought, ‘Well, that must mean it’s more than a name.’ “

Sam Claflin and Luis Gerardo Mendez also star in the film, which eyes a November 15 release date in the United States.
