WHILE his bold personality may have made him a fan favourite, Freddie Slater reveals how much he suffered during his childhood.
Soon enough, the EastEnders character confronts the cause of his trauma by seeking closure from one of his former teachers.
The lad portrayed by Bobby Brazier has mostly kept to himself since his first arrival in Albert Square.
In recent months, Freddie has formed a close bond with Bobby Beale who has become his partner in crime.
However, in scenes due to air on BBC One, he opens up and reveals a sad secret from his childhood to Jean Slater (Gillian Wright).
Coming up, Freddie finds himself double booked with two dates for the same evening and panics whether he can pull it off.
