Judas and the Black Messiah has been out in the USA for some time, released on HBO Max. As cinemas in the UK have been closed during the lockdown, the UK has had to wait a little longer before being able to watch the film. Finally, UK fans can now stream the movie – but where is it available to watch?
Judas and the Black Messiah is available via various rental sites, where it is available to download for a short window.
Fans wanting to watch the film can do so for £15.99, and it is available to rent on Amazon Prime, Sky Store, Google Play, BFI Player and BT TV.
As well as these, the film is also available to rent on Rakuten TV, chili and Microsoft.
Usually, when using a premium rental download, the film is only available for 48 hours before it is no longer able to be viewed.

Other than those listed, any website claiming to have the film for streaming or download is illegal.
The Digital Economy Act 2017 means people could now face 10-year prison sentences for illegally streaming copyrighted content.
To be sure you’re not watching copyrighted material, you should go direct to companies such as Netflix or Amazon Prime, according to FACT (Federation Against Copyright Theft).
CEO of FACT Kieron Sharp said: “There are now more ways than ever for consumers to watch movies and TV, but not going to legitimate sources to watch new movies is not a grey area: it is against the law.
“As well as being illegal, evidence shows that streaming pirated content is incredibly risky and can expose users to malware and inappropriate content.
“Not only does that deny the best viewing experience, it’s just not worth taking the chance.”
Who is in the cast of Judas and the Black Messiah?
The cast is led by Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield, who play the characters described in the title.
Daniel, who was nominated for his second Oscar for his role, plays Chairman Fred Hampton, the chairman of the Black Panther Party in Illinois who is assassinated by the FBI in horrific circumstances.
His death comes after FBI informant William O’Neal (played by Lakeith Stanfield, also nominated for an Oscar) describes intimate details about Fred’s home and activities to aid the COINTELPRO.
The film has been nominated for five Oscars, including the two stars competing for Best Supporting Actor, as well as Best Picture.
It has been nominated for four BAFTA awards, and Daniel has already won the gong for Best Supporting Actor at the Critics’ Choice Awards and Golden Globe Awards.
This is Daniel’s second Oscar nomination, having been previously nominated for Best Actor for his role in Jordan Peele’s 2017 film Get Out.
While he did not win, the star gained a huge amount of attention for this role, having been previously best known for roles in British TV dramas like Skins, Black Mirror and Psychoville.
Lakeith is best known for his work with Donald Glover, on his Fox TV series Atlanta, which has just confirmed two more series.
He has also had leading roles in Sorry to Bother You and Knives Out, as well as appearing with Daniel in Get Out.
