I’m A Celebrity is back on Sunday and fans can’t wait. And, with ITV releasing the long-awaited line-up, it seems even more real. But one constant already knows what it’s like to trade in her life of luxury for a camp-bed and cargo trousers in true jungle fashion.
Caitlyn Jenner has already braved the Australian wilderness back in 2003, before she transitioned.
And, with this prior experience under her belt, she might be feeling a little less nervous than her fellow campers, having already gone through the horror’s of what the Australian jungle can offer.
The former athlete and star of the hit US show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, appeared on the American version of I’m A Celeb over a decade ago.
Then known as Bruce Jenner, she tackled multiple Bushtucker Trials, taking fourth place in the extreme survival series.

But it seems the star had a slip of the memory while speaking to The Sun, as she said she had “no idea” how the competition works.
Maybe the jungle lifestyle really did have an affect!
But she isn’t the first famous face to return to the wilderness, with former glamour model Katie Price appearing on the show twice in 2004 when she met ex-husband Peter Andre, and in 2009 – and hopes she’ll be invited back for a third time!
Posting a video to her YouTube channel, the 41-year-old said: “I was thinking the other day about reality shows what ones I would want to do and stuff like that.
“I did I’m a Celebrity twice and the second time I walked out because I swore on my kids life that’s why I left because I couldn’t go back on it,” she explained.
In her 2009 stint on the show, she was the fan-favourite to do the Bushtucker trials and bring home treats for her teammates.
She continued: ”The silly thing is the last challenge they wanted me to do was easy, so really I should have stayed in but I didn’t.”
She added: “I would definitely do I’m A Celebrity again, 100 percent, third time lucky! Would they have me back in the jungle? Oh my God I could cause another stir!”

Another high profile celeb, Janice Dickinson also appeared twice, in 2007 on the UK version and two years later in the US series.
Caitlyn is reported to have secured a whopping £500,000 for signing up, and joins Noel Edmonds as one of the highest ever paid stars to join I’m A Celebrity.
Speaking ahead of the show, she said: “I did the US version of this and it was a very interesting experience last time I did it.
“Being in the jungle is certainly not easy and yes, it is totally back to basics but I thought this would be a great opportunity to leave everything behind for three weeks,” she explained, adding it was like a “cleansing of the soul.”

She admitted that the UK show will be a “very different experience”, as she might not know any of the British campers.
“Last time, I did it with a bunch of people from the States who I knew of. This time it’s a bunch of people from the UK who I potentially won’t know.”
“But I love going over to the UK, I love the British people and I am looking forward to making some new friends, new allies and getting through it all,” she beamed.
The Olympian revealed that being crowned Queen of the jungle would be a “big validation” that she made the right decision to take part in the show for the second time.
Will Caitlyn tackle the jungle with as much motivation as last time and be crowned our Queen this year?
Or will her break from the wilderness lead her to flop sooner than expected?
