What happens in The Split season 3?
The Split is set in the fast-paced, intense world of London's high-end divorce circuit.
It is a multilayered and witty exploration of modern marriage and the legacy of divorce.
It follows the lives of three Defoe sisters, Hannah (Nicola Walker), Nina (Annabel Scholey) and Rose (Fiona Button) and their formidable mother Ruth (Deborah Findlay).
Viewers last saw how Hannah's solid marriage to Nathan, played by Stephen Mangan, fell apart due to her affair with her previous partner Christie (Barry Atsma).
The new series will see Christie return, who is sure to make matters worse.
Will Hannah and Nathan be able to put the mistakes made in the past or will this be the end of the road?
The BBC teases a “shocking revelation that dramatically changes the stakes", adding: “Battle lines are redrawn, their dream of achieving the ‘good divorce’ is left in tatters.”
