Strictly's Janette Manrara kicked off BBC's It Takes Two by reminding viewers there are mere days left before the final.

To kick off one of the final It Takes Two shows of the year, Janette welcomed the celebrity supporter panel to pitch their reasons why their chosen star should be the one to take home the Glitterball Trophy.

She welcomed Sonny Jay, who is backing Molly Rainford, Kimberly Wyatt, who is backing Fleur East, Angellica Bell, who is backing Helen Skelton and Megan McCubbin, who is backing Hamza Yassin.

After discussing their progress in the competition, Janette gave each of the panellists 10 seconds to explain why they believe their chosen celebrity should win.

As soon as the celebrities had their say they all turned to Janette to fume that they didn't have enough time.

Sonny said: "That was tough! We didn't have enough time," while the others mirrored his reaction prompting Janette to step in and settle them down.

She told the celebs: "We are live everybody, so settle down. We've got to carry on."

Janette swiftly moved on – but the celeb pals remain as supportive as ever for their close friends, with Sonny declaring that he believed Molly is "technically the best dancer on the show".

He urged people to vote for her because she's been in the dance-off four times.

Meanwhile Megan stepped in to urge people to vote for Hamza after the public saw him "transform" as she said he put his "heart and soul into every dance that he's done".

Kimberley said Fleur is "unbelievable" and a "beautiful person" as she said she would always be someone who "has your back".

Finally, Angellica gushed over her friend Helen and said she has "grown and developed as a dancer and is an all-around great person who deserves it".

But who will be crowned the winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2022? Fans will need to wait a few more days to find out…

Strictly's It Takes Two airs weekdays on BBC at 6:30pm.
