When Jersey Shore was revived it already had a big cast change with Sammi Giancola refusing to return. Now it will be going through a change again because Nicole Polizzi announced her retirement. Find out what Angelina Pivarnick has to say about Polizzi leaving and Giancola returning.

The mother revealed that she’s officially ready to move on from Jersey Shore. She dove into the reason why on the podcast, It’s Happening With Snooki & Joey.
“OK, you guys, I love you so much, and don’t hate me for my decision, but I have to do what’s best for me at the moment, and I am retiring from Jersey Shore,” Polizzi said. “I am not coming back to Jersey Shore [Family Vacation] for a season 4, if there is one. And there’s a lot of reasons why, but the main reason is really … I’m just like, I just can’t do it anymore.”
She then revealed what she hated about doing the show. “I hate being away from the kids,” she said. “I don’t like partying three days in a row. It’s just not my life anymore. And I wanna be home with the kids. You know, like, I don’t mind here and there going to a dinner or whatever, but it’s just really hard on me to leave the kids and film the show.”
Angelina Pivarnick said she’ll continue to do the show
Polizzi leaving might have fans wondering if the rest of the cast might also walk away. One person who plans to stick around is Pivarnick.
She was asked if she is enjoying being in the cast. “I am,” Pivarnick told Page Six. “I’m not quitting the show.”
It looks like plans still aren’t set for the future of the cast. “I don’t know what the future holds for me with everything, but I like the way things are coming out — it’s just that one thing,” she said.

Giancola decided to not return for the revival of Jersey Shore. She released a statement for her reason for this decision.
“I have chosen not to join the show because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and relationship. I am not the same person as I was [sic] 22. At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially toxic situations,” read part of her statement on Instagram.
She has since gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Christian Biscardi. Pivarnick hopes Polizzi’s exit will reopen the door for Giancola to return.
“I said this in the beginning — like, years ago — that [Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola] should return, but she’s living her best life,” she told Us Weekly. “She’s getting married soon — good for her. She looks so amazing.”
Will the cast members get an invite? “I don’t know who she’s inviting to the wedding,” answered Pivarnick. The reality star did think the cast is already “solid” with the remaining cast members. “We’re the only people that can deal with it,” she said.
The chances are slim that Giancola will change her mind now. Fans will have to wait and see if the cast of Jersey Shore will change any further.
