Katie Price and Carl Woods 'will marry in Vegas this weekend watched by HIS parents – but NOT hers'

KATIE Price and Carl Woods will tie the knot in Las Vegas this weekend – after sparking speculation with their trip to Sin City.

Earlier today The Sun revealed that Katie, 43, and 32-year-old Carl had picked up their marriage certificate, and now it's been claimed that his parents will be present but hers won't as mum Amy is too sick to travel.

A source said: "Katie is planning on getting married in Vegas over the weekend. She wants a few days to get her tan built up, get her nails done and hair done before the big day, as well as pick out a dream dress."

The insider continued to OK! Online: "Amy isn't well enough to fly but Carl's parents will likely be flying out to watch the ceremony."

But Katie's family won't miss out altogether, as it's thought they'll have a registry office wedding back in the UK – followed by a huge party.

In 2017 Amy, 66, was diagnosed with idopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

The illness causes scarring to the lungs which reduces the sufferer's ability to breathe – there is currently no cure.

Amy bravely opened up about her diagnosis on Loose Women and said she could only have two or three years to live.

Pictures exclusively obtained by The Sun show former glamour model Katie and Carl celebrating getting their marriage certificate at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino, where she knocked back two vodka cocktails in 20 minutes just past midday.

This week The Sun told how Katie is keen to marry Carl before she faces trial next month for driving while intoxicated, driving while banned and driving without a licence.

She told police at the time of the crash “I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all”, a court heard, and headed to rehab afterwards.

A copy of the wedding licence obtained by The Sun confirms that this will be car dealer Carl’s first marriage and Katie’s fourth.

Katie and Carl's trip to Vegas hasn't been all plain-sailing after fellow passengers claimed they were removed from a connecting flight from New York after she refused to wear a facemask.

But a friend told The Sun: "Katie was on the phone to her kids so had pulled the mask down to be heard more clearly.

“She was just finishing up the call when cabin crew came over and told her she needed to wear the mask over her mouth.

"She chose to exit the plane as she hadn’t finished speaking to her kids. She just walked off and got the next flight out – there was no big drama."
