Katie Price, 44, called her £1.6million estate makeover “tacky” as her hit Channel 4 show makes a return.

The OnlyFans star returns to Channel 4 with a new batch of episodes of her Mucky Mansion show on Tuesday evening (February 21) after she began renovating the West Sussex home last year.

In a trailer for Season 2, Katie slammed the mansion’s transformation, calling it “tacky” despite spending massive wads of cash renovating the place.

Katie has so far transformed the kitchen/dining area and daughter Princess’s bedroom, and she even let her mum, Amy and sister Sophie decorate one room downstairs.

Ahead of season two, the former glamour model said her next goal for the mansion is to undertake a five-room revamp of the top floor to turn it into her own little private sanctuary.

The ambitious plans include putting in a new bedroom, a cinema room and a lounge.

Ahead of the show’s debut, Katies admitted she’d had a change of heart when discussing how she plans on styling the renovation.

Speaking to The Mirror, Katie said: “It’s all my ideas and my taste. I’ve had white carpet everywhere. Everyone said, ‘Why have you got white carpet when you’ve got kids and dogs?’ But I want to keep this house nice and pristine."

She added: “I think you can see how bonkers my brain really is with some of the rooms.”

Katie bought the huge property for £1.3m in 2014.

The mum-of-five explained that she didn’t want to stay in her mansion when she hit rock bottom.

She revealed: “I found it hard to come to the house. I had bad memories of it all."

Adding: “I was introduced to someone who wanted to turn it into a wedding venue, but it turned out to be a hoax, and he ended up fly-tipping all of my land and made my house derelict inside.

“And then it got burgled, and someone turned the shower on, so it leaked, and my ceiling collapsed. It looked like a building site, so that’s where it got the name Mucky Mansion.”
