Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) finds herself in danger once more in Coronation Street – courtesy of one of Rick’s enemies.
Following Rick and Laura’s (Kel Allen) deaths, Kelly now has access to all of her dad’s dodgy money.
The teen doesn’t really want to use the cash for her own benefit and soon, she tells Aadi (Adam Hussain) she’s returning it to the people Rick ripped off over the years.
At the bus stop, Kelly reveals that she’s tracked down another of Rick’s clients and is off to pay them back.
Aadi says he’ll go with her and Kelly’s grateful, even agreeing to go on a date with him at Speed Daal.
Meanwhile, Gary (Mikey North) is furious to find out what Kelly is up to, but she fails to listen to him, pointing out he isn’t her dad.
Storming out, Kelly calls at a house and introduces herself as Rick Neelan’s daughter.
Kelly hands Ross an envelope full of cash and explains she’s trying to make up for her dad’s wrongdoing.
Later on, Ross calls a mate and tells them about Kelly’s visit – but is she in danger?
At Speed Daal, Aadi soon realises he’s been stood up, but is it because something’s wrong with Kelly?
Away from the trouble, the prospect of a relationship with Aadi is daunting for Kelly, given the fact she’s been through so much, but as Millie Gibson told us, she certainly deserves some happiness!
‘She’s got such a wall up and I think when it comes to men and boys she’s had the most awful luck. We’ve had Corey, that creditor in the hotel room and everything with her dad too.
‘When it comes to Aadi, because he’s such a sensitive and patient character, I think if he slowly broke down that wall and got round her he’d be a perfect match to fall for because he’s kind of the opposite to Kelly in a way.
‘He’s a great balance to her. I think she could fall for him.’
