Ahead of the return of Big Brother, the new eye has been released by ITV during tonight's Love Island final. The iconic eye is a quirky design full of different emojis, including a play button and of course, an eye.
The Ultimate Social Experiment will make its debut on ITV2 in Autumn, with reports suggesting that it will return in October. The show took over the advert break on ITV1, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and ITVBe and gave fans a first look at the new series.
When the show returns, ITV will be broadcasting footage from the house into the early hours on ITVX. There will also be a Big Brother companion show.
The first look at the new series comes just a couple of months after it was announced that AJ Odudu and Will Best will host the show. The pair will share the role throughout the series.
At the time AJ, 35, said: "I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn't be happier.
"Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour – and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake."
While Will, 38, said: " I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can't wait to tell some housemates not to swear."
Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning for ITV2 and ITVX also said at the time: "AJ and Will really are our perfect pairing as we prepare to reintroduce Big Brother to the next generation. With a genuine chemistry, both of them will bring effortless wit, charm and heaps of character to their roles and we’re delighted to be working with them both again.”
The return of Big Brother was announced during the Love Island final in 2022. ITV confirmed that a brand new cast from all walks of life will enter the iconic house.
Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning & Acquisitions and Controller, ITV2, ITVBe and CITV at the time said: "This refreshed, contemporary new series of Big Brother will contain all the familiar format points that kept viewers engaged and entertained the first time round, but with a brand new look and some additional twists that speak to today’s audience. We’re beyond excited to bring this iconic series to ITV2 and ITVX where it should especially engage with our younger viewers.”
