TELLY chef Nigella Lawson has divided food fans again — by suggesting breakfast of an egg on leftover pizza.
Nigella, 60, posted a picture of her dream brekkie on Instagram.
She wrote: “Now this is what I call a breakfast — leftover pizza from my Friday night order, reheated and topped with a poached egg and a splodge of chilli crisp.”
Some fans agreed that the dish looked great. Jen Pastiloff said: “OK, that’s my idea of heaven. We are soul mates.”
Jirolealy said: “Even more reason to love this woman.”
But others were not so happy. Itsmegjsingh said: “This should never be called a pizza!! It’s a disgrace to the food of the gods!”
It came after Nigella told viewers on her BBC2 show Cook, Eat, Repeat last week how to make toast.
She said she spreads unsalted butter twice before adding sea salt flakes on top and called it the “platonic ideal of toast”.
