Patsy Palmer shares amazing body positive photo ahead of turning 50

EastEnders star Patsy Palmer encouraged her fans to embrace their ‘inner J-Lo’, as she took to social media to post a photo of herself in an uplifting and body positive post.

The actress, best known for playing Bianca Jackson in the BBC One soap, revealed she is determined to ‘enjoy every age’ ahead of her 50th birthday next year.

Inspired by Jennifer Lopez, who celebrated her 52nd birthday with a string of bikini snaps, Patsy, 49, followed suit, as she posted a series of pics of her in a enjoying the warm Mailbu weather.

‘Embrace your inner @jlo,’ the soap star wrote on Instagram. ‘we all need inspiration, enjoy every age.

‘I’ll be 50 next year and feel so good inside it can only translate outside. I honestly don’t work out enough as you can see but i play tennis sporadically And yoga not as often as I should but try to keep that as regular as a normal busy person can.

‘My official photographer is over the moon with his wifey @richardmerkell . The best bit is his wifey couldn’t be happier with her selfcare routines .

‘Be happy , have fun , eat healthy , drink water , dance often , sing often , love always , don’t be a saint and leave others lives to them . Create your own experiences.’

Patsy’s fellow EastEnders co-stars were quick to comment, with Lorraine Stanley, who plays Karen Taylor, saying: ‘Amazing!!!’, followed by three fire emojis.

Danielle Harold, best known as Lola Pearce, simply commented with a heart emoji.

Patsy, last month, voiced her support for footballers Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, after they were subjected to vile racist abuse in the aftermath of the Euro 2020 final. 

Rashford missed during the penalty shootout, while Sancho and Saka saw their efforts saved by Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The players subsequently faced horrific racist abuse online after Italy picked up the victory, with a mural of Rashford in Withington, Manchester defaced.

The soap legend revealed that she’s ‘ashamed’ of her country, telling the Rashford, Saka and Sancho to ‘keep shining a light to dim the darkness of racism’.
