PETER Andre showed his close bond with bankrupt ex wife Katie Price remains as he wished her "nothing but the best" in a touching comment.
The Aussie singer, who saw sparks fly with the glamour model on ITV series I'm A Celeb, was quizzed about their relationship now after their divorce in 2009.
The pair share two children together, Princess, 12, and Junior, 14, and his Instagram followers were eager to get the lowdown.
In a live question and answer session on the social media site, one user asked: "Do you still speak to your kids' mum?"
Showing his caring side, Peter replied: “Yes.
"She is the mother of my children so will always wish her nothing but the best.”
Another was eager to probe the issue further, and asked the Mysterious Girl hitmaker whether he is shouldering the burden for all festive gifts this year – after the Pricey was made bankrupt this month.
He sensitively replied: “Look, I know I said ask me anything and I really wanna answer all your questions.
“But on this subject please just say that I am a very happy person and I would never wish anybody to ever have a hard time.
”I will always be respectful when it comes to this subject. She's the mother of my children."
Mum of five Katie was declared bankrupt earlier this month, and could lose her West Sussex Mucky Mansion as part of the proceedings.
Yet she has enjoyed a glimmer of happiness amid her financial woes after reuniting with on-off boyfriend, Kris Boyson.
The Sun Online last week exclusively revealed how Katie is selling off two engagement rings, given to her by Peter, to raise around £230,000 in much-needed cash.
Katie, 41, was given no less than three engagement rings from the Mysterious Girl singer, after the pair met on I'm A Celebrity.
Pete popped the question in 2004 and the couple married in September 2005, before separating in 2009.
They share two children together – Princess and Junior – but the source says that she's not bothered about keeping the jewellery Pete gave her.
A source told The Sun Online: "Katie's got three engagement rings from Peter – she wants to keep the first one for Princess but the other two 'upgrades' she's willing to sell.
"She says they're worth nothing to her anymore and she wants a fresh start.
"She's not sure if she'll sell them in a private auction or a public sale but she wants to sell them to the highest bidder and cash in."
The two rings Katie is selling are worth around £230,000, according to insiders. "The first 'upgrade' was worth around £150,000 at the time – and the second one cost around £80,000," says the source.
