PHILLIP Schofield will face an ITV ‘civil war’ at tonight's NTAs as he comes face-to-face with Amanda Holden and Ruth Langsford.
Things could get tense as the silver-haired daytime TV host, 57, has clashed with both woman, which even led to one of them making a complaint about him.
This Morning has won an NTA every year since Holly Willoughby took over from Fern Britton back in 2009, so it is almost certain that the show will bag one this year.
This means that all eyes will be on Ruth, who, as a This Morning host herself, will be seated near him in the O2, where the event is taking place.
A source told The Sun Online: "Things are going to be awkward as they can't avoid each other as everyone from This Morning will be sat in the same section.
"Hopefully they can put their differences aside for one night to celebrate their show."
Viewers will also be keen to see if Amanda bumps into Phil at the glitzy bash.
They will no doubt see each other, as being a judge on BGT she will also be in the seats near the front, where he is likely to be sat.
Both Ruth and Amanda have tension with Phil for different reasons.
Back in April Ruth made a formal complaint to ITV's new head of daytime TV Emma Gormley over Phillip’s conduct.
It followed an incident which saw Phillip rudely interrupt Ruth while she was presenting a preview of Loose Women during an episode of This Morning.
Meanwhile, Amanda clashed with Phil after she believed he got her axed from This Morning.
She was set to fill in for Holly while she was hosting I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! 2018 but the offer was withdrawn at the last minute.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge thought Phil was behind her missing out on the coveted role — which instead went to former girlband star Rochelle Humes.
Then last December when asked on her Heart Radio show by co-host Jamie Theakston about the news Phillip had a feud with Ruth, Amanda cooly said: "Listen, Jamie, I've drawn a line under all those issues with Phillip."
Cryptically she added: "I'm just gonna say that I really admire anyone who sticks up for themselves because it is not an easy thing to do.
"There's a tin opener and there's a can somewhere and other people have found the tin opener. That's all I'm saying!"
