Following the release of the new advert, confused fans have taken to social media to wonder what Prince Harry is actually trying to gain from the interview.

Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "Still not sure what Harry’s goal is with all these interviews, other than cashing in."

Another added: "If he 'wants his father and brother back' has he actually gone and told them? In private? or just wants the money"

A third persons said: "Maybe stop selling your story and you might be able to reconcile?"

While a fourth social media user agreed: "Selling stories about his family to the media and then wondering why they won’t have anything to do with him?"

In the interview, Prince Harry says: "I don’t know how staying silent is ever going to make things better."

Tom asks: "Wouldn’t your brother say to you, 'Harry, how could you do this to me after everything? After everything we went through? Wouldn’t that be what he would say?"

Prince Harry replied: “He would probably say all sorts of different things."

Tom later asks: "Some people will say you’ve railed against invasions of your privacy all your life and the accusation will be here are you invading the privacy of your nearest and dearest without permission, now that will be the accusation."

Prince Harry responds: "That would be the accusation from people that don’t understand or don’t want to believe that my family have been briefing the press."

In the clip, Tom also questions Prince Harry about plans for the coronation of his father, HRH King Charles, set for May this year.

Tom asks: "If you are invited to the coronation will you come?"

Prince Harry: "There’s a lot that can happen between now and then.
