ITV’s Prince Philip – A Royal Funeral has been showing scenes live from Windsor ahead of the start of the Duke’s funeral, with members of the 30 guests set to arrive. Covid restrictions mean no more than 30 are allowed to attend. From a sunny day in the Berkshire town, viewers of ITV were able to see the Land Rover which will be carrying the Duke’s coffin – a vehicle he helped to design.
Tom Bradby and Julie Etchingham are leading converge from ITV.
The two have been speaking to members of the armed forces about what will be expected from the procession later today.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have also been seen arriving at the grounds ahead of the service.
Prince Philip, the longest serving consort, will be honoured in an official ceremony starting at 3pm in a scaled-back royal event.
Kate was dressed in all black, with a veil over her face mask.
William could be seen in a black suit and tie, while Prince Charles and Camilla were also seen arriving.
Mourners and army personnel stood in silence as the Land Rover was driven into the grounds for the Duke’s final journey.
The prince’s cap was also seen being driven towards the chapel in an emotional tribute to the 99-year-old.

The Queen is expected to be seated alone during the service as she bids a final farewell to her husband of 73 years.
Three of Prince Philip’s German relatives are among the 30 guests set to attend the funeral.
The Duke of Edinburgh reportedly wanted both sides of his family present at the service.
The three include Bernhard, the hereditary prince of Baden, 50, who is the grandson of Philip’s sister Theodora.

None of the Royals will be in military dress at the service, a decision reportedly made by the Queen.
Both ITV and BBC One have dedicated the entire morning on pre-funeral coverage, talking about the Duke’s life and sharing tributes.
Before the service begins, bands are playing tunes including Jerusalem, with members of the armed forces standing with their heads bowed.
The duke’s favourite carriage was also seen arriving at Windsor Castle ready for the procession of his coffin.
The attendees at the funeral will be socially distanced and wearing face masks.
AS the music faded out, Tom commented: “How incredibly moving that was to witness as the haunting music fades.
“The sun shines along in the military procession as we await.”
The Duke’s coffin was later placed silently into the green four-wheeled vehicle, which was built to the duke’s specifications eight years ago.
As the Queen arrived, the national anthem sounded over the grounds of Windsor.
Prince Philip – A Royal Funeral will show the entirety of the funeral on ITV until 4.30pm.
