Shetland is back on BBC One on Wednesday and Jimmy Perez (played by Douglas Henshall) asks for more time on the investigation. Meanwhile, evidence comes to light of another bomb-maker following Tosh’s (Alison O’Donnell) ordeal at the caravan. Who is in Shetland episode 5?
Ally Flett – Antony Strachan
Antony Strachan is a Scottish actor who has worked on stage and the big and small screen.
In his early career, he played Kidder in Border Cafe and Crofter in Monarch of the Glen.
Viewers may also recognise him as Frank from High Times and Michael from Mountain Goats.
He is also known for his role in Bob Servant, since 2013.
Gregg Flett – Keith Fleming
Gregg Flett is played by Keith Fleming, a former member of Dundee Rep Ensemble.
He appeared in over 35 productions with the group and has won a number of awards for his theatre roles.
The star may be recognised for playing Lesley in Outlander, since 2017.
His other credits include The Railway Man and The Making of Us.
The guests will be joining the regular cast of the season including Shauna Macdonald as Rachel Cairns.
Andrew Whipp is back as Danny Cairns, with Lauren Conroy as Abbie and Patrick Robinson as Lloyd Anderson.
Other returning guest stars include Grant O’Rourke as Jamie Narey and Jade Ogugua as Carol Anne Mané.
PC Alex Grant and PC Burns return, with Connor McCarry and Eubha Akilade playing the roles respectively.

The usual series regulars will be back, with Steven Robertson as DC Sandy Wilson.
Lewis Howden is returning as sergeant Billy McCabe, with Julie Graham as Rhona Kelly.
Julia Hannan is back as Jean Morrow, with John Arnold as William Rodgers and Stuart McQuarrie as Murray Rankin.
Other guests include Laurie Brett as Alison Woods and Anne Kidd as Cora McLean.
Season seven marks the end of the road for Douglas Henshall as he prepares to step down as Perez.
Opening up on his character’s thrilling final investigation, he said: “I don’t think there’s a lot of shows like ours.
“It isn’t big and shouty, it’s subtle and quite nuanced. We’ve explored lots of things that TV shows don’t and I think all of those things are partly what kept our audience loyal to us. It’s wonderful.”
“One of the great good fortunes of Shetland is we’ve had so many great guests to come in over the years.”
Shetland airs on BBC One on Wednesday at 9pm.
