TENSIONS arise in Home Farm next week when a big secret is finally revealed.
To make matters worse, one Emmerdale couple decide to take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.
ITV viewers will remember that Gabby Thomas (portrayed by Rosie Bentham) admitted she was harbouring feelings for Nicky the Home Farm nanny (Lewis Cope).
After initially rejecting her in an attempt to keep his career unscathed, the newcomer revealed the attraction was mutual and the pair embarked on a secret romance.
But the truth caught up with them and, in scenes due to air next week, they reveal they're in a relationship to a seething Kim Tate (Claire King).
Bernice Blackstock and Laurel Thomas (played respectively by Samantha Giles and Charlotte Bellamy) question the lovebirds while Kim arrives with termination papers.

Viewers have been cautious with the nanny, deeming he was too good to be true when he was first hired for both Dawn and Gabby's children.

Nicky's past prior to his arrival in the Dales and his last name are staying under wraps but could it all come to light following his engagement with Gabby?
The young mother's love life has been at a standstill for several months, although she did have a fling with Kit, who happened to also be involved with her stepmother Laurel.
