Tonight’s episode of Emmerdale showed the aftermath of Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) realising Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) might have sexually assaulted her.
Last night (August 26), after giving into temptation and hitting the bottle, Liv woke up with bruises on her arms and no memory of what happened the night before.
As the episode progressed, Liv experienced flashbacks and with help from Gabby (Rosie Bentham), eventually realised there was a chance Noah raped her.
Noah, however, denied the accusation, telling Charity (Emma Atkins) a drunken Liv attacked him and had a huge bruise on his leg to try and prove his version of events.
Tonight (August 27) as Aaron (Danny Miller) supported Liv, Noah was at home, distraught his whole family could turn against him.
Charity, meanwhile, was busy seeking some sort of evidence to show Noah is innocent.
Later on, Charity took Noah over to see Aaron and Liv.
Her phone in hand, Charity showed Aaron and Liv CCTV footage from the garage that showed Noah’s version of events were correct – a drunken Liv was violent to Noah, who was simply trying to help her.
Sitting down, Noah told Charity how grateful he was to have someone on his side and, yes, he called her a ‘good mum’.
Liv was disgusted with herself, and immediately headed over to see Vinny (Bradley Johnson).
Vinny was horrified to hear about Liv being violent as, after she hit Vinny a few months ago, she made a promise that she wouldn’t be violent again.
Liv decided complete distance from Vinny would help her get back to that ‘old Liv’, but can Liv recover without Vinny by her side?
How many more violent outbursts will Liv be responsible for?
