Stacey Solomon reveals sweet reason behind girl dog's unusual name 'Theo' as she calls her her 'second child'

STACEY Solomon shared the reason she picked the quirky name Theo for her girl pomeranian.

The Loose Women panellist, 31, explained how she calls the 10-year-old dog her "second child" because she got her in between having her first two sons.

Stacey revealed her sons helped her pick the Pomeranian mix Chihuahua's name.

They decided to name her Theo after their favourite footballer, Theo Walcott who now plays for Southampton.

On a photo of Theo lying on her back and getting a belly rub from Stacey, the mum-of-three shared some fun facts about the dog.

"She's caring, sweet, loyal, very protective of me and the boys and hates it when someone knocks on the door," Stacey wrote with a laughing emoji face on her Instagram stories.

Stacey also revealed the family thinks she has "a bit of fox in her" and her favourite treat is "Cathedral City Mature Cheddar".

She posted the informative photo because a lot of her fans were asking about Theo as Stacey took a break from crafting her own wedding decorations.

Stacey hopes to marry fiancé Joe Swash at the 'end of summer' afer Eastenders star popped the question on Christmas Eve.

And since the couple got engaged, the mum-of-three has been hard at work planning her perfect day and making their decorations.

And in true Stacey Solomon style, the bits and bobs do come cheap, and are pretty easy to make using just a few supplies.

After already whipping up her own wedding favours – 65p coasters – table decorations and even a globe guestbook, the crafty X Factor star has now made some stunning table numbers using her beloved fejkas.

Taking the time while her boys were distracted, Stacey treated herself to a fun 'crafternoon'.

Giving fans a step-by-step tutorial on Instagram, Stacey started by wrapping the faux plant around a gold ring which she said was originally for her nieces' flower crowns.

The Loose Women panellist has wasted no time in planning her big day, and in just over a month has already found the "perfect venue".

She previously admitted she has her heart set on marrying in 2021 as their "loved ones won't be around forever".

Stacey answered some questions from her followers and said that her and Joe are "hoping to get married at the end of summer".

Although they're unsure how many people they will be allowed to have at their wedding due to the coronavirus restrictions, she said she hopes to have a seperate table for every household in attendance.
