STEPH McGovern has had a "rough start" to her pregnancy as she is battling morning sickness, which was so bad she was almost sick on her colleague.
The 37-year-old recently announced she is expecting her first child in November, but her hyperemesis has been so bad she almost threw up on her co-presenter Charlie Stayt.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast this morning, she said: "It was quite overwhelming yesterday.
"Last year I was like ‘I’m not [pregnant] with child, I’m with pot belly as that’s what I was with but now I am actually growing a human.
"I’m good thank you, bit of a rough start but I’m alright now thank you.
"Charlie nearly got watermelon over him one morning."
Steph has insisted she will be calling on her colleagues, including Jon Kay and Sally Nugent, for parenting tips.
She said: "Listen you three, I'll be coming to you for advice."
Sally added: Steph, I'll be your midwife."
The star was then quizzed on how she feels about the sleepless nights that are pending.
Jon asked: "Are you prepared for broken nights of sleep?"
Steph replied: "That's what we do anyway."
Despite the morning sickness Steph is "thrilled" her and her girlfriend are expecting.
A source previously told The Sun: "Steph and her girlfriend are absolutely thrilled.
"Everyone at the Beeb is delighted too — she is one of the most popular faces on and off the red sofa.
"But she won’t be doing any magazine shoots any time soon — she values her privacy too much."
